Chang ’21 Records Top-40 Finish at Tournament of Champions
Golfer Sophie Chang had a strong finish to her sophomore campaign as she competed at the prestigious Tournament of Champions yesterday at Royce Brook Golf Course in Hillsborough.
Chang shot an 88 on the tough course, which was good enough to finish 39th out the top-75 girls in the state who qualified for the tournament.
“Sophie really had a great season,” said head coach Mike Cascini. “She played a vital role on our varsity team, as we used her score just about every time she played. I am definitely proud of her for accomplishing this goal and competing at the Tournament of Champions. We will be back at it next year.”
