The golf team had a great week on the course as the Knights won all three of their matches against conference opponents.
The Knights got off to a strong start by easily defeating Belvidere 176-242, on Tuesday, April 16. Gill swept the top-four spots as Evan Varma ‘20 (41), Abhay Puri ‘19 (43), Anuj Puri ‘21 (45), and freshman Zac Saunders ‘22 (47) posted the lowest scores of the day.
GSB was able to pull off another win the following day against a very good Bernards squad. The Knights emerged victorious by a score of 167-183 and Sophie Chang ‘21 led the charge with an impressive 39 while Drew Kramer ‘20 (40) and Graeme Hollingshead ‘21 (41) nabbed the top three spots in the competition.
Gill completed its perfect week on the course by defeating South Hunterdon 170-208 on Thursday, April 18. Moritz Weigold ‘19 shot an incredible 37 while Abhay Puri and Kramer both shot a 44 to round out the top three scores.
The Knights are now 9-1 on the season and remain one of the top squads in New Jersey.
