Junior girls’ lacrosse player Lauren Garcia scored her 100th career goal during Gill’s hard-fought 15-14 loss to Somerville on Thursday, April 18.
"This is a newer program, and we play some pretty tough teams, so to get 100 goals halfway through her junior year is quite impressive," said head coach Denise Wilson.
Garcia currently has 14 goals this spring.
Garcia is only the second girl in program history to reach the 100-goal milestone, the other being Mia Kirby ’18 who scored 203 goals during her time with the Knights.
"Lauren is an amazing leader on our team," said Meghan Cohen '22. "She’s hardworking, kind, helpful, and caring and I am so happy to have her as an upperclassman on this team."
