Lax Goalie Katherine Lioudis '18 Reaches 400 Saves

On Monday, varsity lacrosse goalie Katherine Lioudis '18 earned her 400th save with the Knights in a decisive 14-3 win over Rutgers Prep. The four-year varsity starter had four saves for the day, while sophomore Lauren Garcia led the offensive charge with five goals.
 
Five games into the season, Lioudis has notched 42 saves, with a game high of 16 in a matchup against Vorhees on April 14. The team, now in its fourth year as a varsity program, is off to a promising 3-2 start, with wins over Delaware valley, Stuart Country Day School and Rutgers Prep. In addition to a strong defense anchored by Lioudis, the team has showcased the depth of its offense this season. Goals have come from throughout the roster, led by senior Amelia Kirby with 19, while Garcia and senior Andree Aloise each have 13, and sophomore Lexi yates has 7.
 
The team faces Immaculata tomorrow on the road. Go Knights!
