Swimming Sweeps Warren Hills

Both the boys’ and girls’ swim teams came out victorious on Tuesday, January 21, as the girls won, 112-56, while the boys came out on top, 92-43. It was the first win of the season for the boys’ team, and the girls’ squad improved to 5-1 on the season.

“I was so proud of the boys for getting their first-ever Skyland Conference win,” said head coach Nolan Silbernagel. “They worked extremely hard for this, and it was great to see them celebrate a victory. It was also a great win for our girls, as they rebounded nicely from our last dual meet against Bernards.”

Becca Michaels ’20 touched first in the 200 individual medley (2:27.31) and 100 freestyle (1:01.50), Olivia Soultanian '22 won the 200 (2:24.87) and 500 freestyle (6:45.12), and her twin sister Maddie grabbed gold in the 50 freestyle (26.88) and 100 backstroke (1:09.47).
