Swim Teams One of Top Stories in State

The boys’ and girls’ swim teams have been listed as one of the top stories in the state after both squads defeated Blair Academy to open up the season last week.
 
It was also the first time in school history that the swim team competed as two separate varsity teams. The boys won their meet by a score of 75-68 and were led by individual victories from Preston Reep ’19, Robert Brandl ’20 and a relay win of Brandl, Reep, Jonathan Osma ’20 and Christian Ernst ’19.
 
The girls meanwhile pulled out an exciting 82-81 victory over the Buccaneers. Individual winners included Maddie and Olivia Soultanian ‘22 and the relay team of Caroline Grant ’20, Laura Howard “21, Maddie and Olivia Soultanian teamed up for a win as well.
