Two Athletes Compete at Eastern States Championship
Two standout members of the indoor track and field teams, Emily Raia ’20 and Joe Licata ’22, competed at the prestigious Eastern States Championship at the iconic Armory Track and Field Center in New York City on February 18.
Raia competed in two events at the meet, placing 50th in the long jump, while taking 60th in the 55 meter hurdles in a new school-record time of 9.30 seconds.
Licata competed in the shot put, placing 19th overall with a throw of 47 feet, 10.5 inches.
