Multiple Knights Chosen as Players to Watch
The boys’ and girls’ basketball programs are aiming for successful seasons this winter, and both teams will have plenty of strong players on their rosters to achieve their goals.
Four Knights from the boys’ team were chosen as Non-Public B players to watch for this season, while two players were selected from the girls’ squad.
Princeton-bound Zach Martini ’20 was noted for averaging a double-double of the course of the previous season, while fellow senior and University of Northern Alabama commit Will Soucie was highlighted for the scoring prowess he demonstrated last winter. Also given consideration were Denver Anglin ’22 and Mackenzie Mgbako ’23.
On the girls’ side, future Fairleigh Dickinson University player Devyn Scott ’20 will bring a veteran presence and great scoring ability to the Knights this season, while Caileigh Walsh was highlighted as “one of the best interior players in the state.”
