Knights Earn High State Ranking
The girls’ tennis team has been listed as the seventh-best program in New Jersey in NJ.com’s first statewide rankings of the season.
The high ranking comes as the Knights bring back key players from last year’s squad that finished top-15 in the state and was also Prep B Champions. Tori Golidn ’20, Ella Baker ’21, Mayjah Jean-Pierre ’21, and Michaela Kroon ’22 will be looking to anchor Gill’s strong lineup.
With such a strong and deep roster, Head Coach Patrick Hensley and NJ.com believes this could be the year the program earns its first state championship since 2007.
The team begins its season today against Hunterdon Central.
