GSB Cross Country Completes Historic Season

The Gill St. Bernard's boys' cross country squad made history today, competing for the first time as a team at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions (M.O.C.) at Holmdel Park.
 
Patrik Andersen ’15 led the way for the Knights in 16:35, taking 57th in a field of nearly 200 of the best runners in the state. Felix Andersen ’17, the second fastest freshman in New Jersey, was 96th in 17:07, followed by Jacob Kruger ’15 (18:26), Michael Iannaconi ’17 (18:57), Edward Fischer ’15 (19:29) and Andrew Wible ’15 (19:50). The boys qualified for the M.O.C. with a third place finish at the Non-Public B Group Championships on Saturday, November 15.
 
In the girls' race, Dana Klein ’14 was sixth overall in 18:20, the third fastest Somerset County time ever. Alexandria Benoit ’14 also shined, finishing 74th in 19:59.
