Borto ’22 Garners Mid-Season Award
NJ.com selected standout sophomore goalie Alex Borto as the publication’s mid-season award winner for best goalie in New Jersey. Borto received similar recognition earlier in the season, when he was also chosen as a “way-too-early” Goalie of the Year candidate.
He helped the Knights to a 9-3 record and the top seed in the Somerset County Tournament by already posting three shutouts and holding opponents to an average of only 1.33 goals per game.
