Boys’ Soccer Earns Top Seed in County Tournament

The boys’ soccer team grabbed headlines this morning, as the Knights were announced as the number one seed in the upcoming Somerset County Tournament. Gill is ranked ahead of elite programs such as Pingry, the third-ranked team in New Jersey, and last year’s county champion, Hillsborough, which is also ranked 18th in the state.
GSB is enjoying a strong start to the fall and currently owns a record of 7-2, including big wins over Hillsborough, Princeton, and Hoosac School (N.Y), while remarkably outscoring opponents 41 goals to 11.
As the top seed, Gill automatically advances to the quarterfinals of the tournament, which will be held on Saturday, October 19.
