Canica ’21 Claims Conference Player of the Week Honors
For the second consecutive week, a member of the boys’ soccer team has been named the Skyland Conference Player of the Week by NJ.com. Last week, Micaah Garnette ’21 took home the accolade, while Jordan Canica '21 earned the honor this week for his strong play on the pitch.
Canica was an offensive force for Gill during the Knights’ 7-1 victory over Ridge on Wednesday, September 11, as he recorded two goals and two assists. He followed up that performance on Sunday, September 15, at the Mainline Tournament in Philadelphia with another assist to help Gill defeat Hoosac School (N.Y) by a score of 3-1.
