Sina Named Coach of the Year
Boys’ basketball coach Mergin Sina was named the Skyland Conference Coach of the Year by NJ.com for his exceptional work this past winter. It is the veteran coach’s second Coach of the Year honor.
It was another incredible year for the boys’ basketball program, as the Knights recorded their fifth-straight 20-win season while taking on some of the best programs in New Jersey, and in the entire country. Gill's perfect 10-0 in divisional play earned its unprecedented 10th-straight Skyland Conference Delaware Division title.
GSB also reached the North Jersey, Non-Public B Sectional Finals for the second-straight year, and finished the season as the eighth-ranked program in the state.
