Chang ’21 Qualifies for Tournament of Champions
Sophomore golfer Sophie Chang has qualified for the girls’ individual Tournament of Champions on May 21, at Royce Brook Country Club in Hillsborough.
To qualify for this event, Chang had to be ranked within the top-50 female golfers in the state. This ranking was decided by an average of all of her scores during regular season matches throughout the season.
She is currently ranked 28th in New Jersey and has been a key member to the golf program’s success so far this year.
“Sophie and I met earlier this year and talked about goals for the season and this was a huge one for her,” said head coach Mike Cascini. “She’s worked hard on and off the course and has not only obtained individual goals but has really help our team as well.”
