Yates ’20 Scores 100th Goal, Knights Win Big
The girls’ lacrosse team erupted for 20 goals as the Knights soundly defeated Watchung Hills 20-8 yesterday.
The Knights were led by a dynamic duo of juniors as both Lauren Garcia and Lexi Yates each scored eight goals and contributed two assists in the victory.
It was an especially memorable day for Yates as she recorded the 100th goal of her career in the win. She joins her teammate in the school’s 100-goals-scored club as Garcia reached that milestone earlier this year.
Yates has had an incredible breakout year as she has scored 60 goals and recorded 21 assists so far this season.
