Michaels ’20 Featured on SwimSwam for TEDx Talk
Junior swimmer Rebecca Michaels was featured on the popular web site SwimSwam earlier this month for her TedX talk which focused on why water makes people feel happy.
The ten-minute presentation went into detail about the anatomy of the human body and how water naturally makes people feel more relaxed and how competitive swimming has helped affect her life in a positive way.
Michaels serves as the captain of the varsity swim team and is the first girl swimmer in GSB history to qualify for the state NJSIAA Meet of Champions.
