Ice Hockey Skates into 2nd Round of Haas Cup
The ice hockey team was victorious in the first round of the Haas Cup, defeating West Morris, 4-1, on February 12.
The Knights were led by Brenen Lavoie ’21 who had an exceptional net, recording a hattrick to lead the offensive attack. Logan Mote ’22 also scored for GSB while his brother, Christian, contributed two assists. Also recording assists were Eddie McCarthy ’20 and Matt Bloomenthal ’22.
Goalie Alex Steinberg ‘22 was exceptional in net, blocking 23 of 24 shots on goal.
The Knights will take on top-seeded Whippany Park in the semifinals on Wednesday, February 19.
