Ice Hockey Makes State Tournament for First Time

The ice hockey team has continued its historic season as the Knights have qualified for the NJSIAA state tournament for the first time in school history.

Gill concluded its regular season with an 8-5-5 record, which was good enough to land the Knights the 21st seed in the Non-Public B bracket.

Gill is slated to face 12th-seeded Pingry on February 19 at 4:00 p.m.

“It’s a big step for the program,” said co-head coach Greg DaSilva. “We also talk about The Trend: we do not concern ourselves with where we are, only the direction we are going. It was a great year of firsts for our program and making the playoffs certainly helps the trend stay upward.”

Great job and good luck, Knights!
