Samantha Kramer ‘16 Signs Division I Letter of Intent
This morning, Samantha Kramer '16 signed a National Letter of Intent with Fairfield University, a Division I school, to play girls' basketball next year. For the signing, Kramer was joined by family, teammates and friends as well as Headmaster Sid Rowell, Athletic Director Tim Davis and Karen Blair, the Associate Director of College Guidance.
Kramer has been a staple of the Gill St. Bernard’s team throughout her Upper School career. Over the past three years of play, she has amassed an impressive 747 points on the court. As a junior last season, she served as the team’s captain and posted an average of 13.6 points and 5.5 assists per game. Along the way, Kramer helped the team to two Somerset County Championships and three Skyland Conference Division Championships. In the past two seasons, the team has ranked in the top three All-State and in the top three for All-Conference.
In addition to her stellar performance on the court, Kramer maintains an A average academically. As Kramer’s father said at the signing, “We couldn’t be prouder.”
Gill St. Bernard’s is a private, coeducational day school for students age three through grade 12, located in suburban New Jersey.
