Boys’ Basketball Maintains High Rankings
The boys’ basketball team had a busy winter break as the Knights competed in four games between the day after Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Gill went 3-1 during that stretch, with wins over Paterson Eastside, Paterson Kennedy, and Montclair Immaculate – the sixth ranked team in the state.
The Knights lost a heartbreaker on New Year’s Day as they fell to fifth-ranked Bergen Catholic by the score of 49-48.
Despite the loss, Gill is still the top ranked team in the Courier News and is ranked fourth overall in New Jersey by NJ.com.
