Boys’ Basketball Maintains Top-10 Ranking

The boys’ basketball team has been one of the hottest programs in the state, winning seven-straight games while maintaining its top-10 ranking in all of New Jersey.
 
Recently, the Knights posted an impressive win over Brooklyn Collegiate (NY) on Saturday, January 25, 74-53. Will Soucie ’20 exploded for 23 points, eight rebounds, and five assists to lead GSB. Zach Martini ’20 posted a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Also posting a double-double was Mack Mgbako ’23 with ten points and 11 rebounds. Denver Anglin ’22 also reached double-digit points, scoring 12.
 
Gill kept up the momentum and won its seventh game in a row with a victory over Hunterdon Central on Tuesday, January 28. Soucie had another incredible game, scoring 24 points and posting 11 rebounds. Martini was also a machine for GSB, scoring 22 points and recording 16 rebounds. Mgbako also contributed ten points and six rebounds.
 
The Knights will be back in action on Thursday, January 30, at 7:00 p.m. against Bridgewater Raritan for Senior Knight.
