Murphy ’19 Signs National Letter of Intent
Senior Connor Murphy signed a National Letter of Intent earlier today to play basketball at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. The signing took place in Brueckner Hall where Murphy was joined by family, coaches, and friends.
Murphy made a strong impact on the court in his lone season for Gill. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 9.7 points and 8.6 rebounds per game as he helped the Knights claim their fifth-straight Somerset County title and ninth-straight Skyland Conference divisional title. He was also named Skyland Conference Player of the Week in January.
“It was really exciting to come here for my senior year,” said Murphy. “My favorite moment from the season was defeating the top-ranked team in the state, Ranney. It was also great to be part of Coach Sina’s 300th win as he was a major reason as to why I came here.”
