Girls’ Volleyball Earns First-Ever Win

In its second year of existence, the girls’ JV volleyball team was able to earn its first-ever win in program history when the Knights defeated Immaculate Conception High School (Montclair) 2-0 on Wednesday, September 25.

The win marks a huge step forward for the very young program, as the team continually looks to improve and grow every week.

“This win was the culmination of all the hard work they have put in all season,” said Head Coach Mark Signorelli. “The girls were thrilled to get the victory, and are now playing with renewed confidence and energy.”

The Knights followed up this performance by losing a very tight match against a solid Rutgers Prep team on Friday, September 27.

Gill looks to keep up the momentum today at 4:00 p.m. as the Knights take on Warren Hills Regional High School.
