Cross Country Shines at Shore Coaches Invitational

Dana Klein ’14 (18:53) finished first in a field of 108 runners in the Varsity F race at the Shore Coaches Invitational this Saturday, October 4, in Holmdel, N.J. Alexandria Benoit ’14 placed sixth (20:42) and Sahara Ensley ’16 finished 13th (21:29) to help the girls to a runner-up team finish. Ludi Zhu ’16 (23:26), Lillie Wilson ’16 (24:45) and Samantha Bittman ’17 (27:02) also ran well for the Knights.
 
Patrik Andersen ’15 won the boys' Varsity F race in 16:43 to lead his squad to an overall seventh place team finish. Jacob Kruger ’15 (19th/18:26), Peter “Alec” Johnson ’15 (40th/19:10), Michael Iannaconi ’16 (61st/19:50) and Andrew Wible ’15 (63rd/19:54) each finished in the top half of the field of 139 runners.
 
Felix Andersen ’17 was the winner of the boys' Freshman C race with a 3200 meter time of 11:44.
