Knights Advance in County Tournament
The girls’ soccer team won its opening round matchup of the Somerset County Tournament against Manville on Saturday, October 5, by a score of 4-0. It was Gill’s seventh shutout of the season.
Teresa Zimmer ‘20 led all scorers with two goals and an assist. The sister duo of Lexi ‘20 and Delaney Yates ‘23 each scored a goal, and Samantha Lowe ‘20 added an assist.
The ninth-seeded Knights will now face eighth-seeded Somerville in the second round of the tournament on Saturday, October 12.
