GSB Athletics Highlighted by NJ.com
Despite the spring athletics season being cancelled, and social distance guidelines being put into place, the importance of students remaining active, getting fresh air, and staying fit has remained as vital, if not even more so, than ever.
Director of Athletics Will Taylor helped tackle this challenge by reaching out to student-athletes to create, record, and submit 30-second videos to the school. These videos, titled “Knight Notes,” contain messages of encouragement, optimism, and motivation to remain active.
This fun and interactive initiative was recognized by NJ.com as one of the most unique and best ways the publication has seen student-athletes remain present and healthy during these unprecedented times.
