Eye Day 2020

Since 2005, Dr. Larry Najarian has been visiting GSB for Eye Day. Typically Middle School students rotate through an eye dissection, eye movies, and a one-hour visit from the Seeing Eye.

Science Teacher Jennifer Schuchman said, "We had to change things this year, and we were extremely lucky that Dr. Najarian was willing to conduct three live Zoom sessions to talk with all my students about the eye and common eye disorders. The students had a ton of questions, and they even continued to email after the presentations."

Thank you, Dr. Najarian, for your time and for providing the kids with a great learning experience!
