Two Knights Compete at Meet of Champions

The boys’ and girls’ indoor track teams each had a representative compete at the prestigious NJSIAA Meet of Champions on Sunday, March 8, at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility in Staten Island.

Joe Licata ’22 competed in the shot put after winning the event at the Non-Public B Group Championships earlier in the season. Licata placed 16th overall with a personal best throw of 50 feet, 4.5 inches.

Emily Raia ’20 was also the Non-Public B Group champion in her event, the 55-meters hurdle. At MOC’s, she recorded her second-fastest time of the season with a run of 9.15 seconds and placed 25th overall.

Congratulations to both of these Knights on their incredible seasons!
