Gill St. Bernard's School Teams Awarded Borough Proclamations
At the February 11 Borough of Peapack & Gladstone Council Meeting, Mayor Gregory J. Skinner presented two proclamations – one recognizing the GSB Girls' Tennis Team for winning the 2019 State Prep B Championship, accepted by Caitlyn Matthews '20, and one recognizing the GSB Boys' Varsity Soccer Team for winning the 2019 Somerset County Championship 2019, State Prep B Championship 2019, and Non-Public B State Championship, accepted by Finlay Turnbull '21 and Jacob Siegel '20.
As a tribute to these remarkable accomplishments, Head of School Sid Rowell invited Mayor Skinner to attend this morning's Assembly to share the local government's historic recognition with the Upper School. The Mayor enthusiastically congratulated the teams and proudly read the proclamations. Accepting today on behalf of the GSB Girls' Tennis Team was Tori Goldin '20, and for the GSB Boys' Varsity Soccer Team, Finlay Turnbull '21 and Jacob Siegel '20.
