Please know that Gill St. Bernard’s has been and will continue to monitor the well-publicized novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and its implications for the community. We are receiving regular updates and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), and the Bernard’s Township Health Department. For your information, I have attached the most recent guidance from the NJDOH, which includes answers to basic questions about the situation.
Unfortunately, this remains a rapidly evolving circumstance, and the guidance they are giving us is subject to change. However, at the present moment, the current strain of seasonal flu is of much greater concern than the novel coronavirus. Simple precautions, such as regular hand washing and keeping your children home if they are sick, are the best responses at this time. Nonetheless, we will continue to be vigilant and take any appropriate measures to insure the health of our school community.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
