Boys’ Basketball to Face Top Team in the Nation

The boys’ basketball team will take on its tallest task of the season tonight by going up against the number-one ranked program in the country, Monteverde (Florida), at 8:30 p.m. in the Metro Classic,  RWJ Barnabas Health Arena in Toms River.
 
The Knights, who are the tenth-ranked team in New Jersey, will look to play spoiler against a squad that has eight players ranked by ESPN among the top prospects in their respective classes. Gill enters the contest with a 6-2 record, winning their matches by an average of over 27 points.
 
GSB will be led by the senior duo of Zach Martini and Will Soucie, along with sophomore Denver Anglin, and freshmen Mack Mgbako and Isaac Hester.
