The Knight Nation Podcast is Here!

For the first-time ever, GSB will be producing a monthly podcast series entitled, "Knight Nation."

The idea of a school-wide podcast has existed on campus for the past few years, but the formalization of this project really gained momentum in the spring. A group of interested and dedicated students approached Upper School faculty members Jared Ciocco and Margery Schiesswohl about the possibility of this new club on campus. After a great turn out at the Club Fair in September, and with the additional help of fellow faculty members Brendan Flanagan and Mark Signorelli, the newly formed group was ready to begin working on this project.

“This is really a student-driven, student-centered project,” said Ciocco. “A major part of this project/club is that the students get to discover and create segments on topics that they are most interested, such as sports, art, drama, and so on. We have all been working together on learning about the technology, how to schedule due dates for segments, and what the agreed upon segments will be. This is really the result of the hard work of a lot of people; students, faculty, and staff, in order to bring a new project to the school and a new avenue for the students to share their Gill experience.”

After a lot of meetings, trial and error, and editing, the first official episode of this podcast series is available for streaming! Listeners can check out the episode page, download the first episode directly, stream the episode via SoundCloud below, or use your favorite podcast program to subscribe to the show. We are looking forward to more GSB episodes in the future!
