Knights Honored at Skyland Conference Luncheon

Courtney Hanks ’19, Andrew Moglianesi ’19, and head boys’ soccer coach Tony Bednarsky were recognized at the annual Skyland Conference Scholar-Athletes luncheon yesterday in Bridgewater.

Hanks and Moglianesi were selected as the student-athlete representatives for GSB while Bednarsky was recognized as a Coach of the Year for leading the soccer program to its fourth state title this past fall.

Moglianesi was a key member of that state championship squad, as he led the team with 18 goals and added six assists. For his efforts, he was named 1st Team All-Non-Public and 1st Team All-County.

Hanks also competed on the pitch as a member of the girls’ soccer team. A midfielder with “an absolute engine on her, pure workhorse” according to head coach Mike Williams, Hanks helped lead the Knights to their first divisional title since 2007 and an overall record of 14-3-2. Hanks is also on the girls’ lacrosse team this spring.

Congratulations, everyone!
