Boys’ Basketball Maintains High State Ranking

The boys’ basketball team enters the week as the third-ranked program in the state according to NJ.com.
 
The Knights have consistently been a top-five team all season and continued to show their dominance last week.
 
Gill defeated Bridgewater-Raritan 94-45 on Thursday, January 31. Paul Mulcahy ’19 had an incredible game, scoring 25 points while adding 16 rebounds and 13 assists. Also having strong performances were William Soucie ’20 with 28 points and six rebounds and Zach Martini ’20 who added 15 points and 11 rebounds.
 
The Knights kept things rolling on Saturday, February 2, as Gill beat Hunterdon Central 68-52. Mulcahy led the way with another triple-double as he recorded 14 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Martini was great again as he led all scorers with 19 points and also added 11 rebounds and Connor Murphy ’19 had 15 points and 12 rebounds as well.
 
The Knights next hit the court on February 5 against Watchung Hills.
